PFT: Tebow turns in solid preseason outing

Rosenthal has broken down the first wave of preseason games.? (Let?s see if he keeps that up for the next four weeks.)? And with interest in the preseason higher than ever (which, of course, perhaps incorrectly assumes that in past years there actually was any interest in preseason games), more than a few of you have asked for guidance as to where and how the games can be seen.

And so that?s what we?re doing now (I don?t really have anything to add here, I just wanted to run the streak of sentences with parenthetical observations including at least one italicized word to three).

Thursday?s Seahawks-Chargers game will be televised nationally on ESPN, beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET.? Starting 30 minutes earlier on NFL Network will be Around the League:? Preseason 2011, featuring live look-ins from the other early Thursday night games.? All Thursday night games, along with all other preseason games, eventually will be televised by NFL Network, on tape.

Also, all preseason games can be seen live and/or on demand via NFL.com?s ?Preseason Live? package, which includes a ?Back to Football? special price of $19.99 for all four weeks.? (We?re not being paid for mentioning that.? But it?s not as if we didn?t ask.)

For the first week of the preseason, additional games will be played on Friday and Saturday.? FOX will be televising Friday night?s Bucs-Chiefs game at 8:00 p.m. ET, and NLFN will broadcast Saturday night?s Packers-Browns matchup live at 7:30 p.m. ET.? Week One concludes with the Jets visiting the Texans on ESPN, Monday night at 8:00 p.m. ET.

Yes, it?s glorified football practice.? But it?s football.? And that?s a lot better than the alternative.
