At the beginning of the month, LA Times real estate writer Lauren Beale reported that retired NBC LA anchorman Paul Moyer had put his Brentwood home on the market for $9.49 million. The asking price for the five-bedroom, four-bath residence shows that Moyer has managed his money well.
So how does the same info, from the same writer, quality as a self-described ?news flash? when it is republished at the bottom of a ?Hot Property? real estate round-up less than a month later? Is Beale doing Moyer a favor here? Did her article editors goof?
More importantly, will the Twitter account @PaulMoyersHair get a much needed boost out of all this by picking up on the 70-year-old?s real estate transacting? Even though the person(s) behind the account tweet only sporadically, followers at press time include CBS-KCAL reporter Lisa Sigell, KTLA producer Vito Formica, and Dateline NBC?s Josh Mankiewicz.
In her August 27 article, Beale also shared the more intriguing news that long-time Jerry Bruckheimer Films producer Jonathan Littman has purchased the Encino home featured in Season Seven of Entourage. FishbowlLA is not sure if this means that he can now be referred to around the office as ?Jonathan Drama.?
