PGA Tour's season opener delayed again

KAPALUA, Hawaii (AP) ? Now even a Saturday start to the PGA Tour season is looking bleak.

One day after the opening round to the 2013 season was wiped out because of high wind, the Tournament of Champions was delayed by at least two hours Saturday morning because conditions were just as bad.

Rickie Fowler went out to the practice range at the first hint of light, and about 20 minutes later he was back inside.

The plan was to play 36 holes Saturday to stay on schedule for the Monday finish. PGA Tour officials were huddling to figure out when or whether they could play, and how to proceed the rest of the week if they can't.

The wind was predicted to relent enough the next two days.
