The following video was produced by the United States Courts. ?My job is to serve the employees so they can turn around and serve the public. My name is Theresa Irisari Robinson and I?m a Human Resources Assistant for the U.S. District Courts. Each of us has, I think, an important role to play.? ?Esmerelda Henry, HR Coordinator.? ?Michael Sarator, I?m a Human Resources Officer.? Miaracha Ivaria, Human Resources Assistant.?
?Loretta Robinson, HR Manager.? ?As a Human Resources Manager, I will receive essentially all of the human resources services and programs for my office, and that includes compensation and benefits.? ?Retaining talent and recruiting for that talent.?
?I work with many young interns and law clerks, and I feel that I am able to help steer them in the direction they need to go.? ?I do the pre-screening for the new applicants. I also do the background investigations, and the fingerprints,
and name-checks to the FBI.? ?Helping people out is a huge part of the job. It?s great.? ?The main thing we?re looking for is not only experience, but the ability to learn, the ability to be a team player.? ?People here are intelligent, they?re loyal and they?re dedicated.? ?They must be very public-oriented, like people, like serving people.? ?Someone who exercises self-initiative.?
?I?m organized, I?m efficient, and I take pride in the work that I do.? ?When I first started I didn?t realize the
impact, and how big my job was.? ?We are working for the rights of
the individual and also for the good of the country.? ?Our focus is to serve the community, the general
public, the bar, and the individuals that come into our courthouse every day.? ?I love it. It?s great.? ?You feel like you?re making a difference.? ?Training is very important and we train people
every day, in every aspect of their job.? ?There?s a lot of people here with a lot of experience
that can help guide you.? ?I started off as an administrative assistant, and I worked my way up.? ?It offers the right person limitless, boundless opportunities.? ?If you?re looking for variety and not something stale, I think the Courts is a great place to be
because every day there?s something different.? ?There?s always something new every day.? ?A job at the Federal Courts will enhance
your career.? ?The Judiciary is a very important branch of the Federal Government.? ?This is really, really an awesome thing to be a part of.?
