I think it`s not only the price, location, appearance and how much we like the house that should matter. What I find very important,?especially?for families buying a new home is to get very, very familiar with the immediate?neighborhood. I`m sure you want your kids to be happy, to have other kids in the area so then can play together, you want to know how the area feels... Does it feel safe, friendly, welcoming. Check the expressions of on peoples faces when you drive around slowly and say hi. When I`m in search for a house for a family with kids I always spend one day checking out the immediate area in person. Front yard can tell you a lot about people who live in the area. Is is neat? Is it clean? Or is it messy and looks?forgotten. I stop by, try to chat with the?neighbors, ask questions.?Yes, it takes time but it`s very well worth it. You ( buyer) or your clients( if you are an agent) will really appreciate it, as they will love to live not just in that house but in that place, in the?neighborhood that feels like "family".?
