The Department of Business Studies seeks a full-time, tenure track assistant or associate professor beginning August 2013. Duties will include a 4/3 course load, advising students, conducting scholarly research, participating in curriculum design and regularly scheduled office hours. Doctorate in business or related discipline from a regionally-accredited institution required for appointment as associate. Minimum requirements are substantial progress towards the doctorate in business or related discipline, record of scholarly activities and related practitioner accomplishments and experience in teaching primarily undergraduate students as well as graduate students. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to teach at the strategic level in several of the following areas: international business, marketing, organizational change and communication. Applicants must be willing to contribute actively to the mission of the College as well as show respect for the Catholic and Assumptionist identity of Assumption College.
